Biography of Elder Roderick N. Sands

Treasurer - North Bahamas Mission

Elder Roderick N. Sands was born in Nassau, Bahamas to the proud parents-James and Alice Sands. He is one of five children. He carries the honour of serving as the first treasurer in the North Bahamas Mission of Seventh-day Adventists, and the youngest treasurer ever to serve in the Adventist Church in the Bahamas.

A product of Christian education, Roderick holds a B. Sc. degree in Business Administration with emphasis in accounting, and was Licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in August 1997 by the State of Georgia, and presently holds membership in The Bahamas Institute of Chartered Accountants and is a member of Toastmasters.

Prior to his appointment, he served as the Auditor and Trust Services Director for the Bahamas Conference of Seventh-day Adventists in Nassau, Bahamas.

He is married to the former Juliette I. Brown and they have two sons, R. N. Boss and James.
