Women's Ministries Abaco Retreat   

The North Bahamas Conference of Seventh-day Adventists Women’s Ministries (WM) Department was in the Abaco District of the Bahamas this past weekend (May 29 - 31), participating in a Women’s Retreat under the theme: “Women:  The Apple of God’s Eyes”. Speakers for the weekend included, Mrs. Arleen Sands, WM Director of the North Bahamas Conference; Mrs. Miriam Knowles, WM Director of the Bahamas Conference (which covers the central and southern islands of the Bahamas); Mrs. Ann Albury, Children's Ministries Director of the North Bahamas Conference. The Retreat focused on spiritual enlightenment; physical and mental rest; social fulfillment.  In addition, there were sharing experiences on "How to remain faithful to God"; "How to live a victorious life"; and "How to exercise genuine forgiveness".
