Commonwealth Day at Grand Bahama Academy Commonwealth Day is celebrated on the second Monday in March every year throughout the Commonwealth of Nations. The aim is to increase an understanding on global issues, international cooperation, an awareness of the different nations that comprise the Commonwealth and the work done to improve the lives of its 1.8 billion citizens. At Grand Bahama Academy the diversity of some of the cultures and nationalities were displayed for the educational benefit as well as the enjoyment and enhancement of the students.
