Mrs. Arleen Sands, Women's Ministries Director for the Adventist Church in the Northern Bahamas (North Bahamas Conference), was elected president of the Grand Bahama Craft Association on Tuesday, February 24, 2009. This Association in conjunction with the Bahamas Agricultural and Industrial Corporation (BAIC) trains, encourages and supports persons who promote authentically Bahamian manufactured items. She and her new officers were congratulated by the Hon. Lawrence Cartwright, Minister of Agriculture & Marine Resources along with the Hon. Edison Key, Chairman of BAIC and Mrs. Donalee Bowe, Asst.
