Installation Service

Christian greetings!  On Wednesday, June 21, 2006, the North Bahamas Mission of Seventh-day Adventists will be installing Pastor E. Bryan Tinker as its new President and Pastor Michael A. Smith as its Executive Secretary.  The Service is scheduled to commence 7:30 p.m. at the Freeport Seventh-day Adventist Church, East Beachway and Gambier Drive.

We are happy to extend to all members an invitation to attend this special sacred event.  This service will be spearheaded by officials from our higher organization, the West Indies Union of Seventh-day Adventists.

We look forward to seeing you there, and we request your continued prayers for the work in the North Bahamas Mission.

Joint Choir Practice

All choir members, of all the churches in Grand Bahama, are kindly asked to attend a special practice today, immediately following A.Y., at the Freeport Church, in preparation for the Installation Service.

Condolences

A Memorial Service for the late Sis. Dorothy Storr, will be conducted tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. at the Shiloh Seventh-day Adventist Church.  Please keep the family in your prayers. 

Condolences are extended to Pastor E. Bryan Tinker and family due to the death of his sister-in-law.  The funeral service will be conducted today in New Providence.  Please continue to pray for the family.

 Condolences are extended to Elder Brian Rolle and family due to the death of his second brother.  As we all know, Elder Rolle just recently buried a brother about two weeks ago.  Please remember to pray that Almighty God will continue to strengthen them.

  Family Ministries

Under the patronage of Pastor R.V. Bain and Mrs. Bain, the Eight Mile Rock Family Ministries Department will be holding its Second Annual Marriage Commitment Retreat, November 3-5, 2006 at the Xanadu Beach Resort and Marina.  The cost of the event is $350.00 per couple, which includes hotel room, food and resource materials.  Presenters for this event will be Doctors Wendell R. & Althea McMillan.  You don’t want to miss it so contact your Family Ministries Leaders in your local church or call Chris & Eleanor Rolle at 351-2358 for further information.  Please note that you will also want to invite couples from the community at large.  Come and receive a rich blessing.
